«New York, New York» explores the city not as a fixed portrait, but as a constantly shifting image. The exhibition looks at New York as a place shaped not only by streets, buildings, and people, but also by the mythology built around it through cinema, literature, photography, and popular culture.
The project moves through the city’s contrasts: glamour and decay, intimacy and distance, spectacle and everyday life. It presents New York through fragments, atmospheres, and fleeting moments.
In the immersive format of Digital Art House Riga, the photographs expand beyond the traditional frame and allow viewers to experience New York as both a real place and a constructed image.
